Working Late with the Adobe Creative Residents
We’re gearing up for a fresh edition of Working Late at Adobe’s San Francisco office tomorrow, with presentations and hands-on activities to suit any level of creative expression you’re up for. The evening’s highlights will be presentations from Adobe Creative Residents Kelli Anderson and Becky Murphy, with a moderated Q&A by Makeshift Society founder Rena Tom. We’ll be on hand with the Typekit Studio, and our colleagues at XD Studio are bringing over their new RISOgraph EZ printer.
The Makeshift Society has been the site of some of our previous Working Late events, and Rena’s experience with the design industry and the people in it makes her an ideal moderator to hone in on what Kelli and Becky have been up to since their residencies at Adobe kicked off.
We love bringing the Typekit Studio stamps out for events like this, as a low-pressure way to invite people to play with type. Make your own postcards or small posters — we’ll provide all the ink, paper, and stamps.
The possibilities are far broader with the RISOgraph printer. Get inspired in advance with a peek at Talin Wadsworth’s blog, where he’s creating a new print each day.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite, and your $10 covers the cost of food (from Señor Sisig!) and drinks at the event. Doors open at 6:30, with the presentations beginning at 7. We’ll see you there!

Will any video be available online afterwards? I am super interested in the RISOgraph printer!!
Hi Laurel! I’ve been told the Adobe Inspire team will be recording the event and posting a video later on; I’d suggest keeping an eye on this page for updates about that: http://inspire.adobe.com/2015/4/30/adobe_creative_residency.html.
