Upcoming Speaking Events

The conference schedule is just getting started for 2015, and we’re ready to get out there and talk about type. Here’s where you’ll find Typekit folks speaking this month and next.

Tickets are available for both of these events at the time of posting.

An Event Apart Atlanta

16-18 February | InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, Georgia (USA)
Registration

Tim Brown will debut his new talk, “Typesetting Body Text Like a Pirate Jedi with a DeLorean.”

Oh, you haven’t already left to register after reading that title? In this talk, Tim will explore the challenges of typesetting body text for the web. It’s a complicated, expensive process, and it contradicts tenets of typography that are widely considered fundamental to good design. But doing it well fortifies your brand, lends authenticity to what you say, and clarifies your messages. And body text can act as an anchor, making other design decisions easier. In this new session, Tim Brown welcomes you to hone productive typesetting practices — with many specific tips, as well as a solid overview of the scope, dependencies, and effects of our typographic decisions.

Robothon 2015

Registration
