We hope you can join us next week at TypeCon2014! As a nonprofit endeavor with a focus on sharing and education, TypeCon is an event that we’re proud to support once again as a headline sponsor. This year the conference takes place in Washington, DC, from July 30th through August 3rd, and as usual will feature dozens of presentations and workshops covering all aspects of type and typography.

Once the young upstart of type conferences in the years following its debut in 1998, TypeCon has now become a venerable favorite in the type community. Each year it brings together some of the most famous and skilled type professionals with hundreds of students and enthusiasts — a mixing of minds and generations which is its hallmark and one of its greatest assets.

Adobe’s David Lemon (who has been contributing his own memories to our series of blog posts commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Adobe Originals program) will reflect on Adobe’s 30-year journey developing digital type technology. The Typekit pop-up library will also be there, and you’ll have a chance to meet other members of the Adobe Typekit team (myself included). We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
