Veer joins Typekit

Now we’re going to have some fun … Veer type is available on Typekit! For starters, you can give your website or blog personality and panache with beautiful display faces from Veer’s Jukebox collection, “a treasure trove of typographic Americana” inspired by the 1950s and ’60s.

Corner Store

A medium weight, connected ‘signage’s style’ script font. This face was based on a hand lettered alphabet in a vintage sign painting ‘how-to’ publication.

Hooligan

A playful sans serif with a modulated baseline. The roman weights was based on an old photo-typositing face from the 1960s, while the italic was added by Jason Walcott.

Adage Script

A warm script font with a down-home feel. Digitally revived from a vintage photo-typesetting face. The character set has been expanded and modernized.

Peachy Keen

Peachy Keen is a chunky sans serif that is bold and playful, with a hand-drawn cartoon-y feel. The font was inspired by a how to book on lettering entitled “Practical Lettering” published in 1955.

We’ve added these four, plus six more Veer typefaces: Annabelle, Baroque Text, Bookman, Buena Park, Hellenic Wide, and Tamarillo. And the best thing is, this is just the beginning of our partnership with Veer. You can look forward to more selections from their amazing library on Typekit in the future.
