Typekit and Drupal Gardens: Let a thousand fonts bloom

Take a look at the Typekit home page and you’ll see our mission in big, beautiful letters: The easiest way to use real fonts on the web. Everything we do is aimed at offering simple yet powerful access to an ever-growing library of webfonts, regardless of whether you write markup by hand, publish your site with a CMS, or use any of the other countless ways to build websites.

Here’s another great example of that mission in action: Typekit is now integrated into Drupal Gardens. In the screencast below, you’ll see how fluid the experience is. Choose fonts from the Typekit library, switch to your Drupal site, and the fonts will be available in the template design tool. Just like that.

  1. That’s awesome – and don’t forget that there’s also a module to integrate Typekit in Drupal 6 (and soon 7) sites wherever they are hosted: http://drupal.org/project/typekit

    Thanks!

Great work on the module, Jason!

  2. Thanks Jeff – went to a great session on web typography yesterday at DrupalCon with Samantha Warren, so we talked quite a bit about @font-face and Typekit. Cool to see so many people excited about it.
