Typekit to the MAX
Adobe MAX is here and we can’t wait to see many of you at the San Diego Convention Center this week. If you want to kick it with our team, here’s where you’ll find us.
In sessions
Our MAX preview post from August details all the workshops, labs and talks happening this week that we’d recommend for typophiles. We’d also highly recommend adding What’s New from Adobe Type and Typekit with Matthew Rechs on Friday at 12:45 pm in Room 4. (Bonus! There will be door prizes for the first 50 attendees.)
In the Community Pavilion
We’re unveiling the Typekit Live Lettering Studio in Booth 215 and hope you come by to check it out. We’ll have artists in the booth each day to add a letter to the studio wall, and Xandra Zamora will give demos on Wednesday and Friday to attendees jonesing to draw some letters in our Scout Books.

We’ll also have a lounge space in the booth if you need a spot to chill and chat with our staff about what’s new at Typekit. (And pick up some fun swag too.)
Other type booths at the Pavilion
We always enjoy the Type Directors Club exhibitions and won’t want to miss TDC62 in the Community Pavilion (conveniently right across the aisle from our booth).
Dalton Maag will be at MAX for their first time and are hosting a wonderful crop of typographic mini-sessions in their booth (#417), including critiques, with Bruno Maag and Tom Foley. The sessions take place during morning, lunch and afternoon breaks. A complete schedule and descriptions can be viewed here.
On Twitter & Instagram
We’ll be posting updates from our booth at Adobe MAX throughout the week using #TkLiveLetters in addition to the #AdobeMAX hashtag. For those who want to find their own living letters this week, we have a special treat for folks who spell out a type term with pictures of letters found in our lettering lounge, at the TDC & Dalton Maag booths, and any other spots around MAX or San Diego. Get creative and stop by booth #215!
