See you in Denver: Typekit sponsoring TypeCon2015

If you’re heading to Denver this week for TypeCon, we’ll see you there! Typekit is a headline sponsor for the annual typography conference, and we’ve also got a handful of people on the team making presentations. We’ll be bringing the Typekit Studio with us, too, for some type-inspired stamping fun.

It should be a great conference — we look forward to it every year. If you aren’t already there for the workshops, the program is packed with interesting talks from Friday through Sunday. Here’s where you’ll find some of our own on stage:

Friday morning, Frank Grießhammer will dive into his research on the Hershey Fonts, some of the first digital fonts created with a complex series of coordinates.

Later that afternoon, Steve Ross and Miguel Sousa will share their experience applying agile development to typeface design — and what the response has been to the first Adobe Type Concept font.

Ivan Bettger wraps up Friday afternoon with “Style Points: A Look at Basketball Uniform Design and Aesthetics.”

And Saturday morning, we’ll grab some coffee and catch Paul Hunt‘s early talk on “An Illustrated History of Non-Latin Typeface Development at Adobe.”

Come by the studio anytime during the conference to play with the stamps, or just to say hello. For full details about the conference schedule and location, check the TypeCon website for up-to-date information.
