Sites We Like: Tech@NYU & Mentor

Some things you learn in school, and others, you learn from the world around you. This week, we’re nearing the end of school graduation season and we’ve got our eyes on the future — and on typography, as always. Here are a couple sites to get you inspired, either way.

Tech@NYU

Tech@NYU website

Bringing the tech startup spirit to the grounds of Greenwich Village, Tech@NYU welcomes students into the world of design, tech, and entrepreneurship with a busy calendar of campus events. All text is set in FF Meta — a clean, approachable sans serif whose varied sizes and weights balance out nicely across headings and body text.

Mentor

Mentor website

Scott Riley’s Mentor is a simple but inspirational website featuring “droplets of advice for those new to the web industry.” All the site text is set in Brandon Grotesque, whose friendly personality is a nice fit for the earnest advice.

That’s it for this week; share sites you like in the comments!
