Typekit sponsors the Wayzgoose type conference

Type geeks of the Midwest, it’s time for the annual Wayzgoose type conference at Hamilton Wood Type! Hosted up in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, it’s a small and friendly gathering of designers, printers, and typographers — and it’s our honor to finally join the list of sponsors.

The conference begins November 7th (tomorrow!) with a series of workshops, and then runs through the weekend with breakout sessions on topics related to printing and typography. Speakers include Chuck Anderson, Silvio Antiga and Sandro Berra from Tipoteca, and Jessica Spring of Springtide Press, along with several more designers and printers from across the country. If you’re in the area and interested to learn more about the art, business, and history of printing type, this should be a lot of fun — and even though the workshops on Friday are full, there’s still time to join in for the speaker sessions.

We’re really looking forward to participating. We’ll be bringing along enough copies of our Adobe Originals 25th Anniversary books for each attendee to take one home. If you’re there, you’ll also have a couple chances to grab one of the 25th anniversary posters we produced in a limited run earlier this year.

See you soon in Two Rivers!
