Thanks for your interest, Pete! We’re not building an email list, but we will announce new information here on the blog and on Twitter (@typekit).

You can also reach us at support@typekit.com if you have any questions in the meantime.

Thats the way companies should keep their customers informed. Great!

I’m excited to use Monotype’s fonts and look forward to this release. I second the inquiry about what it will cost, but I obviously understand that you can’t talk specifics yet and regardless, it would probably still be a very affordable option.

Loving TypeKit and excited for it to get even better!

I was also one of the “when is it happening” folks like Brett.

I should mention that I kind of knew that moving the Monotype fonts in the Typekit framework will be difficult. There are many Helveticas and unlike other sites where one font is the font type plus the variation such as font-weight and one adds them one by one to the kit, in Typekit you do it differently – here you add the font first and then select the font-weight etc. The latter is definitely better. It may thus take a while to build the unified framework.

Just guessing. I am not from software but I think I can understand this very well:

“The balance of the work involves preparing the fonts using Typekit’s web font processing engine, and making them easy to find and use in the Typekit library. This turned out to be an even bigger job than we anticipated.”

Happy to read this post.

If you want to see an example of “when is it coming?” look at H&FJ. Slowest. Company. Ever. Web fonts anyone? No, they want us to use SIFR in 2013.
