It’s the reason i’m not using typekit. webfonts.fonts.com at the moment has the upperhand but at nearly 3 times the cost.

This partnership will make the market more competitive and i’d seriously consider typekit.

Can we have a rough timeline?

I recently registered with fonts.com to play around with some of the more classic Monotype faces, such as Avenir, Univers, and Frutiger, on the web. Unfortunately, I found their embedding method a lot less usable than Typekit’s. Typekit really does make it easy to include type in my projects.

Like everyone else here, I’m anxiously awaiting news regarding when these typefaces will be available through typekit.

Currently I still use webfonts.fonts.com for the monotype fonts but I rather abandon them completely. Especially since I’m an Adobe Creative Cloud subscriber. Any ETA? Will it be included in the ACC subscription too?
