Note that the corruption occurs before a softcopy document is saved out, since Apple Offices is coded as Apple OYces. Hopefully, Mac OS OS X 10.5 will do what should have been done is Mac OS 7.5, which is to discontinue the Type 1 format in favour of the SFNT Spline Font file format.
